“Bailaora - Mis pies son mi voz” es la obra más personal de la bailaora y coreógrafa Siudy Garrido y su compañía flamenca. Nominada a dos Latin Grammys®, esta producción es un viaje autobiográfico que encarna su visión sobre la evolución del flamenco desde su propia perspectiva geográfica e influencia cultural.
Reconocida por manejar un lenguaje contemporáneo y teatral dentro de baile flamenco que la ha convertido en una importante voz de este arte en América, Siudy desnuda una ruta emocional a través de la danza, absorbiendo experiencias atemporales que se convierten en un despertar artístico.
La música es original del madrileño Juan Parrilla (Joaquín Cortés) y Manuel Fernandez, con colaboración del maestro onubes Jose Luis de la Paz (Cristina Hoyos) quienes también participant en la banda de la producción en vivo y que presentan una composición abierta a nuevos instrumentos y nuevas estructuras, fusionando sonidos de la actualidad con las raíces más profundas del flamenco, algunos detalles como Pedro Navaja, Take Five o sonidos urbanos dentro de palos tradicionales del flamenco son la plena muestra de un arte vivo y abierto a la actualidad.
El resultado es un rotundo comentario humanista y feminista sobre la auto invención y autodeterminación que revela la vulnerabilidad y la fuerza interior de una guerrera cuya única arma es su propio arte.
